Sibiu City App is the official application of the City of Sibiu and it includes the list of touristic objectives, recommendations from locals about new places and interesting events, events calendar and useful information about accommodations, restaurants, free time & recreation, transportation and parking options in Sibiu.
The key element in Sibiu City App’s long-term sustainability is the shared access for content publishing among various players of a community. The City Hall engaged in this approach and organised two training sessions with all the cultural, sports or other events organisers and promoters so they can understand how to work with the platform and the benefits of this information (and mobile marketing!) system for their community.
Another successful component of the application is the Incident Reporting Module to the Sibiu City Hall.
