In full winter season, the first mobile application of a ski resort in the Romanian Carpathians was launched: Sureanu Ski App. The platform is dedicated to winter sports enthusiasts who wish to enjoy the snow in a spectacular area of the Șureanu Mountains in the county of Alba.

Due to the wild landscape surrounded by the massifs of Parâng, Cindrel, Lotru and Retezat, the Șureanu area is known to its guests as the “Switzerland of the East”. With or without skis, boards or sleighs, Sureanu App makes sure visitors are up to date with all the relevant info during the ski season.

Feeling tempted to learn how to ski? Try the services offered by ski instructors, under the section “Ski schools”. If you can’t bring your own equipment, don’t worry … the app also shows the list of ski equipment rental facilities in Sureanu.

You will also find a list of the most important winter events, such as „Snow celebration” or „Șureanu Ski Cup” and the „National ski competition”. Download the app and you will be notified about each event or competition dedicated to snow sports enthusiasts.
The ski events can also be viewed in the app through streaming services. Streaming works as self-promotion but also helps to promote winter sports.
Eat & Drink & Sleep
After spending a few hours out in the snow, people need to refresh a little, i.e. an apres-ski to get warm, enjoy a nice meal in the restaurants close-by and book comfortable accommodation close to the slopes.
