Despre
The Bogdánffy House, located at Avram Iancu Street, no. 1, was the property of the Armenian merchant Antal Bogdánffy. In 1811, he purchased a plot of land that included the former Cobblers' Tower and the old moat of Cluj's medieval fortifications. An L-shaped building featuring a basement, two upper floors with Eclectic-style facades was built on this land, that, between 1830 and 1860 housed the psychiatric ward of the Karolina Hospital.
Following a restoration process, the building was opened to the public in 2026; it is currently used by the Plan B Foundation as an art gallery and a space for various contemporary art projects.
