ASTRA Museum International Architecture & Design Workshop

The ASTRA Museum hosts, between September 8–13, 2025, the 4th edition of the International Workshop of Architecture and Design, with the theme “Enclosure. Material, constructive, spatial and aesthetic techniques.”

Coordinated by Prof. Arch. Agostino Bossi (University of Naples Federico II), the event brings together professors from leading universities in Milan, Bari, and Bucharest.

The workshop explores the role of enclosures in the history and theory of architecture, starting from traditional agro-pastoral models preserved at ASTRA. It also includes an international research seminar, aimed at architecture students, highlighting how heritage can inspire sustainable and ecological approaches to contemporary housing design.
