Domeniul Aristiței

The domain is located in Valea Călugarească, Nicovani village. It owns 4 ha cultivated with vines and a new boutique winery, equipped with ultramodern winemaking equipment that has a production capacity of 100,000 lt.

Nicovani Valley is dated as part of the locality since the 15th century. It has an old tradition in cultivating vines and producing wine. At the beginning of the 20th century, a number of important people lived here with mansions. Among them is Ion Bujoiu, a politician, former Minister of Economy in the interwar period. This domain belonged to the Bujoiu family until 1947, and after 1989 it was returned to the family's heirs, from whom in 2013 Mrs. Bianca Ioniță bought it, renaming the domain after her mother, Mrs. Adina Aristița Ioniță.

The construction of the winery is new, incorporating a cellar from over a century. The equipment is new and responds to any challenge of modern winemaking. The capacity of the winery is 1000 hl.

The winery has a flow dedicated to visits, but also a tasting space designed as a place of relaxation and recreation in the company of wine, where professional and leisure tastings can be organized.
