Intro

This policy describes the methods by which Users may request and obtain the deletion of their account and their Personal Data.

The use of the Application and/or the Website implies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

Users’ Personal Data are stored for the duration of the User account or until an explicit request for deletion is submitted, in accordance with the conditions set out in this policy.

Definitions

Data Controller – the entity identified above, which determines the purposes and means of the Processing of Personal Data.

User – any natural person who uses the Application and/or the Website.

Account Deletion Methods

Via the Website
The User may access the Account deletion URL.

The process involves the following steps:
  • entering the email address associated with the account;
  • receiving a confirmation code via email;
  • entering the confirmation code in the interface;
  • confirming the account deletion request.

Upon completion of the process:
  • the account is deleted;
  • the User receives confirmation both on-screen and via email.

Via the Mobile Application
The User may access the following path within the Application:
My Account → Edit Profile → Membership & Account → Delete your User Account

After confirming the action:
  • the account and the associated Personal Data are deleted.

What Personal Data are deleted?

Upon deletion of the User account, the following Personal Data and associated information are erased:
  • Full name;
  • Email address;
  • Profile photograph (if available);
  • reviews published within the Application and the Website;
  • saved lists;
  • user interactions (e.g., likes, followed pages).

Processing timeframe

The deletion of the User account and the associated Personal Data is carried out without undue delay, typically immediately after confirmation of the request.

In certain circumstances, some Personal Data may be retained for a limited period, where such retention is necessary to comply with legal obligations or to pursue legitimate interests (e.g., security, fraud prevention, or abuse prevention).

Limitations and exceptions

The deletion of the User account does not affect:
  • anonymized data used for statistical purposes;
  • data that must be retained in order to comply with legal obligations;
  • technical logs required for security purposes (retained for limited periods).

Such data do not allow the direct identification of the User.

Responsibilities

The User is responsible for:
  • providing an accurate and valid email address;
  • initiating the account deletion process using the available methods.

The Data Controller ensures the implementation of appropriate technical measures to enable the secure deletion of Personal Data.

Changes to the Personal Data Deletion Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time as a result of changes in applicable legislation or modifications to the structure and functionalities of the Application and the Website.

Where such changes occur, Users will be informed in advance, prior to their entry into force, through notifications within the Application or via the Website.
